After hearing God’s call to plant a church in Mackay, Queensland, Ps Craig and Tuppy launched NewLife Church on April 11, 1999, with their three little ones all under the age of five. What began with just nine people gathered in their living room has since grown into a thriving church family of hundreds, meeting across multiple locations.
NewLife Church is comprised of people from many backgrounds and of various ages and ethnicities. NewLife Church is part of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC) movement. ACC is a movement of Pentecostal Churches in voluntary cooperation. Each church within the ACC is self-governing, but works in relationship with other churches in the movement for the purpose of mutual support and the furtherance of the gospel in Australia and overseas.
